Alaska’s largest cross-sector gathering of professionals, organizations, and community members returns for the 29th year, February 1-5, 2027, at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage, Alaska. For nearly three decades, the Alaska Forum has been a leading gathering for Alaska’s environmental professionals, providing technical training, professional development, and opportunities to share information, experience, and solutions.

AF2027 will continue strong programming for environmental professionals, Tribal environmental programs, regulators, consultants, scientists, engineers, contractors, and communities—while also expanding the conversations around issues that increasingly intersect with environmental work and Alaska’s future. Energy. Resource development. Public health. Emergency preparedness. Infrastructure. Workforce. Rural communities. Fish and wildlife. The Arctic. These issues don’t exist independently of Alaska’s environment. The Alaska Forum brings the people working on them together.

Our goal is simple: provide the technical information our established participants depend upon while creating opportunities to engage with the larger issues that affect their work, their communities, and Alaska. This conference brings together leaders from government, business, education, nonprofits, and communities across Alaska to collaborate on projects, challenges, and innovative ideas shaping the state’s future. The unique diversity and broad content make this conference a must-attend event for every sector in Alaska—whether you’re focused on community development, environmental stewardship, economic growth, or public service.

What You Can Expect
– 100+ technical and professional sessions
– Five days of training and professional development
– Keynote speakers and important Alaska conversations
– Environmental and regulatory updates
– Emerging issues affecting Alaska
– Exhibitors from across the state

Whether you’re coming for specialized training, an important regulatory update, an emerging issue, new partnerships, or simply to reconnect with colleagues from around the state, there will be more reasons to be at the Alaska Forum in 2027.

We so look forward to seeing you in Anchorage this coming February!
