Alaska is on the cusp of the largest broadband investment in state history, with nearly $629 million in federal BEAD (Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment) funding approved to expand high speed internet access statewide. This “Make it Monday” forum will bring together Alaska’s leading telecommunications providers to discuss how these investments will be deployed (with an emphasis on Anchorage, Eagle River and Mat-Su) and what expanded broadband access means for economic development, healthcare, education and business growth.
